I'll admit it. My winter pajamas look very similar to the "before" picture I posted on the snow day: (Thanks to ej for teaching me how to link!)
It's not even a fashion issue--it's a temperature one. (And, no, ladies, it's not "the change" or anything--I've been having the same nighttime temperature issues since birth. Or at least since moving to climates that require radiators.) I just can't seem to find cute, comfortable pajamas that I can wear without layering under or over a giant T-shirt or two.
My favorite sleeping T-shirts range from my own high school's PE "Fitness for Life" beauty (pictured as the red bottom layer above) to my pride-and-joy Bay Area Theater Sports shirt that I earned in the late 90's after surviving a mandatory week of PERFORMING (not just teaching) improvisational theatre and should probably hang on the wall to recognize my greatest achievement EVER (which was not dying during that week.) Oy--I can't even think about it. Have you ever had to improvise a musical? Those sweat stains are EARNED, baby.
But I got them in a different color on sale and somehow the color looks like Mango Pepto Bismol.
Meanwhile, all of the TV shows we watch have the wives--even the MOMS--wearing cute tank tops--even CAMI tops-- to bed. On NORMAL days. Don't these people get cold? What's the deal? What do real people--and women specifically-- wear to bed?
